I love when family comes to visit! We don't get to see most of husbands family very often. They are scattered about the country. So, we get pretty excited when we get a chance to meet up with them. Well, this time we were able to meet up for a quick family session. We met at none other than the Union Station in Ogden. :) They were such troopers in the cold and snow. I made them treck quite a ways.. hopefully it was worth it. Here is a preview from their session. There are a lot more for me to edit.. but I have another session to finish first. Hope you guys enjoy them, and we miss you already.
I am booked up the rest of this year so I won't be taking any more sessions this month. If you have already talked to me then don't worry. My schedule is filling up quickly with different family functions and I don't want to miss out on those! Also, some of my previous clients may not know that I am charging now and at the beginning of the year my prices are going to go up. I am now booking for next year, so if you book a session with me before Jan 1 you will pay the 2008 charges instead of the 2009 charges. I want to say thank you to all of my previous clients this year, I had a great time working with you and I hope you enjoyed it too! I'm excited for a new year and meeting lots of great new people!!
After taking forever to decide which picture to order as a canvas, I decided to go with my first choice and go with this one in black and white. My hubby and I both felt it would look best in our home. I was a little leery about ordering it because I have ordered a canvas before with a different company and I was not all that pleased with it. It was ok, just didn't seem the best quality to me. I decided to try out another company that a lot of photographers have raved about. Well it came a few weeks ago and I just LOVE it!! I am now happy to offer canvas prints to my clients. The quality is amazing and worth every penny in my opinion!
Here it is in all it's beauty.. I'm kicking myself for not going bigger! (these were taken quickly with my point and shoot) My little guy cheesing it up...
My session today was so much fun! I was able to photograph this beautiful senior. I seriously don't think she can take a bad picture. I had the hardest time choosing which photos to edit first, because they were all so great! Well 'N' I hope you like them, it was great to meet you and your mom. :) A little mocha black and white. I love her boots! so fun! Lots of photos I know! Like I said, I had a hard time deciding and there are still many more that I just love too!
Well I took her photos and her little sisters photos a while back and their parents loved them. So, they booked a family shoot. Here is a preview of their shoot! Sometimes I really like the shots with no one looking.
He was going to play frisbee golf after our session and this is his hole in one face.. Sorry J just had to post it. :) Zoolander pose. :) I must say he is pretty good at it! J may just have a future as a model. ok can you tell yet that we had fun? :) I'm still editing more. They will all be uploaded to my Flickr.
This is my good friends little brother 'J'. I was a little nervous about photographing a teenage boy since I haven't really photographed them much, but I think we all had a fun time. Here are just a few I have been able to work on tonight. More to come, I promise! I know he is not smiling in this one, but it caught my eye out of the bunch.
I am wanting to order a canvas as a sample to show my clients. I have been wanting to get one of my little man so I can hang it in our new home, once we get one. ;) Anyways I took him out in a cute new outfit from his great-Oma and got these two that I like. Which one do you like best? I like this one in black and white best. Did I overdo it with the texture? Most of my decor is black and red so I think this one would go well with that..? I like this one too first one but in color
I am a stay-at-home mom and photographer. My passion for photography has been with me ever since my dad gave me my first point and shoot camera at the age of 7. My love for the art became even stronger after having my first child.
